How do I use the faq:support web site?

To Receive Technical Support:

  1. Log in to the web site or register your product.
  2. Find your product from the list shown in "My Products".
  3. Review the FAQs and manuals to find an answer for your question or fix for your problem.
  4. Make sure you have installed the correct drivers for your device.
  5. If you still need support, click on the "Contact a Support Professional" link.
  6. Answer the support questions to help diagnose your problem.
  7. If you still have a problem, you will be asked to register for support and to provide a short description of your problem.
  8. On registering for support, the web site will give you a support ticket number. You may then either request an answer via email or call a support number to talk to a Support Professional.

To Register My Product:

  1. Select the Registration Menu option.
  2. Enter your email address to use as your login ID and choose a password.
  3. Select your product and identify your purchase by providing either the PPID or Serial Number of the device.
  4. Complete your registration by providing your contact details.
  5. You will now have access to the full faq:support service.
  6. If you have purchased your device through Dell but are experiencing problems registering on our site, please use the Support form to report your problem to a Support Professional.
